Canteen Duty Roster – Warimoo oval

NOTES:  
 

  • The Grounds must be dressed by 8:00am (at the latest) – minimum 3 adults required. It is also imperative that the Undressing the Grounds duties are carried out by the rostered team (minimum 3 adults required).
  • Anyone wishing to assist with these duties other than those rostered will be more than welcome.  
  • At least one member from each family to attend rostered Canteen Duty. 
  • PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR INSURANCE AND SAFETY REASONS, CHILDREN 16 YEARS AND UNDER ARE NOT PERMITTED INSIDE THE CANTEEN. 
  • If you cannot make it to your allotted time, please swap with another family to ensure that the Canteen is manned at all times. 
  • The Canteen Manual placed in the Canteen will have a complete list of duties, rosters, Manager/Coach contact numbers

Time Duties  

 

8:15am Team Manager to open up, and receive float.  
 

Canteen Set-up:  
 

  • Turn on microwave at power switch.  
  • Turn on pie oven at power switch, increase temperature to High,and then reduce to Medium; 
  • Put pies and/or sausage rolls (5 of each) into pie oven to heat;replenish as required. 
  • Set out confectionery, chips, coffee, etc. 
  • Line and distribute garbage bins: 2 on side-line

Canteen close – approx 12:00pm:  
 

  • Turn off microwave and pie oven at power switch. 
  • Put unheated pies and sausage rolls into freezer bags and place in freezer. Discard any heated pies and sausage rolls –   do not freeze
  • Pack away confectionery, chips, coffee, etc. 
  • Wash, dry and put away utensils. 
  • Seal all garbage bags and place in Council bins. 
  • Sweep out Canteen. 

Canteen Coordinator will collect float, keys and soiled tea towels at approx 12:30pm.  
 

4:45pm – 5:30pm Undress Grounds Last  Team as per Grounds Duty Roster

BBQ Instructions – Toolang Oval  
U6, U7
Start: approx 8.40 am  

 

Close Approx 11.00 am  

SET UP  
The rostered mini  team will set up the BBQ and cover manning the barbecue  
Please ensure that your team representatives are there at least by 10 minutes before your start time  at the latest.  
Sausages are kept in the drinks fridge.
 

Extra gas cylinders are located in the club house if more gas is required  
 

DURING THE GAMES  
 

All barbecued food is paid for at the Canteen (bread will be given at the time of payment).  
Check the quantities you have cooked, and if needed, put on extra sausages
 

to cater for the ‘’end of the game” rush of customers.  
 

 CLEAN UP  
 

  • Begin winding down at approx 11.00 am – this will allow those players from last game  to purchase from the BBQ  
  • BBQ to close at 11.15am . Wipe down the BBQ plate (scrape and clean with paper, wash  
  • surface with warm soapy water), wash the BBQ grill stand.  
  • Wash BBQ dishes/tools in the canteen.  
  • BBQ fat bucket (located underneath BBQ)
  • Please ensure BBQ is thoroughly cleaned before moving back into the Club house  

Canteen close – approx 11:30am:  

  • Pack away confectionery, chips, , etc.  
  • Wash, dry and put away utensils.  

Canteen Coordinator will collect float, keys and soiled tea towels at approx 11.:30am.
