“We’re really keen to increase the participation in our O35 age groups for men and women this year, as well as our O45 for men. These teams are a fantastic way for our community to come together and have fun representing St Ives.

In particular we would love to see some more players from our wonderful families that already know and support our club. This could be parents of kids in our Miniroos or Junior teams that give up many hours to watch them play. After they’ve finished their game why not show the kids how it’s done?! The mixed team kids can be Dad’s Saturday afternoon fan and the girls can cheer on Mum on Sunday afternoon!

Or maybe it’s time the wives of existing male players got their chance? Why let him have all the fun? He can be the sideline supporter for once whilst you and your girlfriends have a kick around!

Whether you would like to learn a new sport, re-live old glories, get a bit fitter or meet new people in your community in a fun environment we have a place for you at St Ives FC. All abilities from beginner through to expert ageing gracefully are welcome!”
